Granite Town Farms is Hosting a Recipe Contest

Wild Blueberry Season is just around the corner here at Granite Town Farms in the beautiful town of St. George. What better way to launch this bountiful harvest season than with an exciting new Wild Showdown Recipe Contest! We’re searching for unique ways that YOU have discovered to use these sweet August treats -- fresh from the field, frozen and/or through any of Granite Town Farm’s line of gourmet food products – sweet, savory and “Wild Blueberries with a Kick”.

As the top three winners, chosen by our entirely unscientific but much food-loving panel, you will be rich in local fame, perhaps a little in fortune and you will receive a sumptuous and attractive “Wild Gift Basket”. You will also be featured prominently, with your winning recipes, on the following websites:

Maybe you’re a Food Network junkie. Maybe you have a treasured family recipe handed down over the years. Maybe you’ve never stirred a pot but want to point your daring creativity in a new direction. Whatever the case, all you have to do is ask yourself one question: “Am I WILD enough to win!”

We’ve kept the rules simple:
1. You must use wild blueberries – fresh, frozen or through any of our gourmet food products.
2. It must be your recipe or a family heirloom recipe.
3. You must provide a list of ingredients, in measured amounts, with clear step-by-step instructions.
4. Your recipe must be accompanied by a photo of the finished product.
5. Entry deadline is Saturday, August 20th 2011 by 4pm.
6. By submitting an entry, you agree to give us permission to post it on our website or in any media coverage we may receive.
